Phonoscope Cable service now offers digital cable options to the Rice University Residential Population. In order to sign up for digital cable call Phonoscope directly at 713-272-4600 and identify yourself as a Rice University resident who is interested in purchasing digital cable for your room. Phonoscope will set up an account for you and you will be billed a $25.00 deposit for the digital box plus a monthly charge of $3.95 for the service. HBO Package
Showtime Package

Phonoscope now offers High Definition Television. The service requires that you have an HD Television plus an HD Tuner within your television otherwise you will need to rent a converter box for your HD Television from Phonoscope for $9.95 per month plus a $40.00 deposit.
