The Housing and Dining department combines Campus Housing, Residential Dining, Graduate Apartments, Faculty Club, Rice Catering, Student Center Dining, Vending, and Summer Conference services all into a complete customer service package. We strive to make your college experience completely inviting and supportive of your life as a Rice University student. Rice University Dining exemplifies the "art of the culinary" with National and Regional award winning chefs cooking from scratch with healthy and sustainable ingredients.

The culinary team is currently comprised of 16 ACF certified chefs including: CCE's, ACE's, CEC's, CCC's, CSC's, CWPC's and 80 culinary production associates.
We look forward to meeting the needs of our community while serving delicious food with a focus on wellness, education and sustainability.

Meningitis Vaccine Requirement
Attention all Fall 2012 incoming Rice students (first-year, transfer, & international undergraduate students):
Welcome to Rice! Please review the Rice Orientation website for important information about the Texas state law requiring all new students to receive a meningococcal meningitis vaccine: http://vaccination.rice.edu/. Students who fail to meet this requirement will not receive their college assignment and will not be allowed to move into on-campus housing. Incoming international students should also follow this requirement and refer to the Office of International Students website for additional information and updates: http://oiss.rice.edu/ .
